A new subdivision off SH 30
The Reserve at Huntsville is one of the newer neighborhoods in town, just off SH 30 and I-45 and about two miles from Sam Houston State University. K. Hovnanian builds here under the name Aspire at The Reserve at Huntsville, and CastleRock Communities is building too.
Common areas include a pond, walking trails, a dog park, a butterfly garden, a pavilion, and a park. Lot sizes haven’t been published, so we measure each yard instead of guessing.
New homes usually come with a basic fence or none. Owners tend to call us for three things: a stronger privacy fence, a gate wide enough for a mower, and a better barrier for pets.
Plan first
Before you fence in The Reserve at Huntsville
- HOA review. We confirm the current fence guidelines and build the submittal before we schedule anything.
- Common-area lots. Yards that face the pond, trails, or park can have their own rules.
- City requirements. We check what the City of Huntsville asks for at your address.
- New utility lines. Fresh construction means utilities run close to lot lines. We request Texas 811 locates every time.
- Drainage swales. New lots are graded to move water between houses. We keep the fence from blocking that path.
- Shared fences. Most runs border a neighbor. We can quote a shared section so the cost is clear to both sides.
HOA guidelines and city requirements can change. We confirm the current rules for your lot before we quote.

The Reserve at Huntsville fence questions
Do you serve The Reserve at Huntsville?
Yes. Our office is at 1135 Grand Central Pkwy in Conroe, and Huntsville is about 31 miles north on I-45. The Reserve is right off the interstate at SH 30, so it’s an easy drive for us. Call or text (713) 331-9419.
Does a new fence need HOA sign-off?
Plan on it. The Reserve has an HOA, and changes to fences in new subdivisions usually go through a review. We haven’t seen published fence guidelines, so we check the current rules and prepare the drawing and material details before we quote.
Can you replace the builder fence?
Yes. We can replace a single run, add a gate, or redo the whole yard. If a section is shared with a neighbor, we can quote it so both households see the cost.
My home backs to the pond or a trail. What can go there?
Rear lines facing common areas are the ones most likely to have special rules. We check before suggesting a style, and on water or trail lots we often recommend open metal fencing.
